Kristianne Anor

Kristianne is an associate at at Derstine Partners, where her practice focuses on criminal litigation at the trial and appellate levels. She represents clients facing all kinds of criminal charges in and around the GTA.

Kristianne received her JD from the University of Ottawa where she graduated with a dual option in public law and law and technology. Prior to law school, she completed graduate coursework at the University of Victoria and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from York University. After successfully completing her articles at Derstine Penman, Kristianne was called to the bar in 2021 and went on to become an associate at the firm.

While in law school, Kristianne worked as a research assistant for a number of professors and presented some of her research before the CRTC tribunal. During law school, Kristianne also worked on a number of Federal Court, Federal Court of Appeal, and Supreme Court of Canada cases and participated in a number of competitive moots.

Kristianne understands that facing a criminal charge can be a very stressful experience and is dedicated to helping her clients navigate their way through the criminal justice system as fiercely and as compassionately as possible at every stage of the process.
