Adam Newman received a Bachelor’s of Arts degree with Honours in Philosophy from Queen’s University before completing his law degree at the University of Western Ontario. While at Western, Adam joined the Western Criminal Law Association and was voted into the position of Vice President of Student Affairs of the Student Legal Society. He also spent a semester abroad, studying international law at the University of Bergen in Norway.
Adam completed his articles at Derstine Penman. He became an associate at Derstine Penman because he believes that every accused has the right to a dedicated lawyer equipped with a vigorous defense – the very principle that defines this firm.
Born and raised in Toronto, Adam enjoys spending time outdoors and being physically active.
